Donate grocery kit to migrant workers
Rural poor from various villages of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana State and Hampi Bellari districts of karnataka have been living in temporary structures near Aralaguppe village of Tipturu taluk in Tumkur district, near Bangalore. They are involved in Railway track extension work on contract basis and were being provided with food by the contractor along with wages.
Due to lock down, they have lost their daily income. They are unable to travel back to their villages nor support themselves without any income. Since they do not have ration cards or BPL cards, they are deprived of rations.
The families along with children require immediate support to buy groceries and essential items for survival till they are able to get back to work.
Immediate support for these families required for grocery items; they can survive during lockdown & until getting their livelihoods back
Support required for
- 13 migrant families from Andra Pradesh, living near Kempabha temple, Aralaguppe
- 9 migrant families from Telengana state living near Aralaguppe railway track
- 1 family from Bellary Hampi, Karnataka living near Aralaguppe railway station
