Premanatha’s core responsibilities include implementing the areca-based entrepreneurship program in the Shimoga region, which involves skill training, community mobilization, market linkages, conducting need assessments, data collection, and reporting. He comes with expertise in creating alternate livelihoods based on areca sheaths. Before joining TIDE, Premanatha worked for 13 years as a project coordinator and training coordinator at various organizations, focusing on HIV/AIDS, water and sanitation, digital literacy, and village development. In his leisure time, he enjoys organizing nature-based camping activities.
