Dr. Sridar Babu, is an environmental scientist and educationist who brings in 25 years of experience spanning sustainability, applied research and community development. He began his academic journey teaching postgraduate students at the Department of Environmental Sciences, Bangalore University, and later served as a Researcher with the Board of Research in Nuclear Science (BARC), Mumbai.
For more than 14 years, Dr. Sridar Babu was associated with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), leading diverse programs in groundwater research, School education, air quality studies (including indoor air), sustainability, carbon footprint assessment, waste management, green buildings, solar energy, and forest evaluations. His career reflects a deep commitment to advancing sustainable solutions that benefit both people and ecosystems.
